Bio
I moved to Santa Rosa from Minnesota in September 2008. My wife received a promotion and transferred to Santa Rosa. We feel like we are on vacation every day.
I had been in private practice outside of Minneapolis for 25 years. I'm very excited to be part of Kaiser. I think that this system represents the future of medicine.
My undergraduate education was at the University of Minnesota where I majored in Engineering, Economics, and finally Pharmacy. I attended the University of Minnesota Medical school. I did a Family Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
I chose Family Practice because I like the idea of seeing the whole family. I have always been a generalist and Family Practice fits me well. My goal is to help my patients understand what is happening with their health and also illness, and how these are related.
I grew up in a small town (pop:230) in western Minnesota. I worked in a factory and drove a truck over the road for 3 years. I think this helps me to understand what my patients are going through. |
