Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
A healthy mind and spirit are powerful healing tools for the body. In eight 2-hour sessions and one 4-hour Saturday retreat, this class teaches you how to use meditation to increase selfawareness, manage stress and pain, and promote the healing process. You’ll find that meditation is not just a tool for recovery, but a tool for living life more fully and in the present. This class is a recommended follow-up if you’ve already completed Mind- Body Medicine for Stress or if you want to develop a regular relaxation and meditation practice.
