Chronic Pain Mindfulness Class

This class is offered to graduates of the Chronic Pain Management Program (Intermediate or Intensive) on every Thursday from 12:30PM – 2PM. The practice of mindfulness is an important part of managing chronic illness and chronic pain. Through this practice we can relax the body, clear the mind, calm emotions, and engage whatever difficulties we face with optimal patience, skill, compassion, and success. Though not necessarily easy, especially when we are not feeling well, mindfulness is a simple practice, which can be quickly learned and practiced at any time throughout the day. By practicing regularly, we learn to accept the moment as it is, treat ourselves and others more kindly, and live a more functional, richer life.
